Here are all the things I would like to do in my life time.

1. Go on a safari in Africa.

I think going on a safari would be an amazing experience, you would get to see many things that you wouldn’t be able to see in everyday life.

2. Play for the women’s Canadian hockey team in the winter Olympics.

I always enjoy cheering on team Canada in the winter Olympics, so I think actually playing for them would be the greatest!

3. Ride a Unicycle

I have always wanted to ride a unicycle, it looks very challenging but very fun at the same time. Its a very quirky skill.

4. Visit every state in the U.S.A. and every province and territory in Canada

I like traveling and seeing different things. There’s almost always something new and exciting to see. I like seeing different things that you don’t see everyday.

5. Go scuba diving

I think it would be amazing to see all the wonderful colours and sea life. It just seems like something really cool to try.

6. Climb a mountain

I hear stories about how everyday people can climb mountains at amazing heights. I think it would be an awesome accomplishment.

7. Visit a Volcano 

I have read books and seen movies where people see these great volcanoes. I think it would be amazing to see one up close and in person.

This year my goal is to get a stronger endurance. I am going to work out and run as much as I can. I want to get stronger so I can get better in hockey. I also want to work on sticking to my plans and following through with practicing on my hockey skills every night a week. I want to make the best hockey team I can so i need to improve my skills to make that happen. I will run almost every night a week and hopefully I can follow through with my goal.

Here is my list of the top 5 thing that drive me nuts! I hope you like it.

5. People who dont cover their mouths when they sneeze or cough.
I actually wrote a rant about how much this bothers me. I hate when they sneeze/cough right in your face, oh I just hate it!

4. Movie Talkers

why do people talk during movies? I mean i dont mind if its about the movie and you are asking a question because you dont understand something, but if its something out of the blue that is completely random, I cant stand it.

3.Cracking your knuckles

I dont understand whats so bad about cracking your knuckles, but there is something about it that drives me insane. Its just the sound that that sends shivers down my spine.

2.Singing along with the music when you don’t actually know the words.

Although I tend to do this sometimes, I at least hum with the music instead of making up words to go with the tune of the song. It just messes with my brain and confuses me.

1. Loud chewers

This has got to be my all time biggest pet peeve. I hate when people slurp and smack their food in their mouth. It just grosses me out.

I love this song because of what it is made for. Many Canadian artists came together to remake the song True Colours to support bullying awareness. After the incident about Amanda Todd, These artists wanted to stop bullying. I think everyone should want bullying to stop, no one benefits from it. Lets all help stop bullying.

Best Student Blog: I nominate Ryan’s blog because his Writing on his blog drags my eyes towards his posts and makes me want to read his posts. I can see that he works very hard at making his posts great, he takes his own time to write posts about his interests. I like how he writes reviews about sports gear and shows a strong interest in the NHL lockout. I like his lists about his top favourite xbox games and how he shares class projects and art work. Great Work Ryan!!!

“Its kind of fun to do the Impossible.” -Disney

I think this quote means that you can have fun doing the thing that you never thought possible. I know that a common phrase that people use is “I could never do that, Its impossible.” Then a few years later if you work hard enough you can make it possible and achieve your goals. When you set goals for yourself you have something to work hard for and to dream about. I know that if you really want something you will work and work till you break impossible and grab it. Nothing is impossible, many years ago people might have thought the technology we have now was impossible but look at us now! People need to step out of their comfort zone to do outrageous and amazing things. And for all these reasons is why I think  ”Its kind of fun to do the impossible.”

10. Cabbage Patch Kids

Cabbage Patch kids are Chubby plush dolls that you are sure to love. They all have wonderful clothing and adorable faces. They need you to love them and take care of them, so that they can have a bright future.

9. My Little Pony

My little ponies are the cute Pony figures that every girl wants. They are colorful and have adorable houses, cars and accessories. These little ponies have come so far there now are plush stuffed ponies and their own T.V. show. Next thing you know there will be electronic dolls and remote control versions, Oh wait there are!!! These small figurines have come a long way, whats next to come!

8. Littlest Pet Shop

Littlest Pet shops are adorable little animal figures that range anywhere from penguins to Guinea pigs. Theses bobble head pets have tiny magnets on the bottoms of their paw, hoof or flipper that allow them into interact with objects in their houses or cars.  These pets can fit many into one pocket so they are easy to take anywhere. Who doesn’t want one!

7. Beanie Babies

Beanie Babies are Soft, sweet plush animals that have their own personalities, names and background story. These collectibles are sure to make you smile, laugh and giggle.

6. American Girl Dolls

American Girl Dolls are sweet 18 inch dolls that have their own story they are the perfect friend for any girl. They will make any day brighter. There are also look-like-you dolls which are dolls meant to looks just like you! You can have that sister you’ve always wanted with these lovable dolls.

5. Furby

Fubys have a mind of their own! These cute robotic creatures with interact with every move you make. They sing, dance and are sure to make you giggle. These funny little pets will always be there to cheer you up! Feed them, play with them and love them.

4. Nintendo D.S. 

The Nintendo D.S. is a portable gaming system with two screens! This gaming system is able to play video games without internet connection or cords. It is a larger version of the Game boy advanced, but with two screens one being touch. With internet connection you are able to play multiplayer games with others in your area. They are perfect for long car rides with less whining. They come in different colours and now you can get the all new 3D D.S. So why not visit your local video game store and pick one up soon.

3. Tamagotchi

Tamagotchis are the cute virtual pets in your pocket. Hatch them from eggs and raise them through their childhood, teen years adult hood until old age. Feed, wash and play with your adorable pets. Attach your Tamagotchi to a computer and visit the tamagotchi world where you can meet new Tamagotchi friends. Keep your Tamagotchi happy by connecting to a friends Tamagotchi where they can play together and even get married. These pets are cute friends who need your love.

2. Puppy Surprise

Puppy surprise is the adorable stuffed dog that is expecting puppies, But how many? Thats the surprise you never know how many you will get. How many boys how many girls? Another surprise! The fun was not knowing, The fun is guessing. This is what I think the one of the funnest toys i have ever received because everything was a surprise!

Webkinz are the plush toys that come to life when you enter the special code located on the tag that comes with your pet. You enter their code into the webkinz website and adopt your pet to get started. There is lots to do in Webkinz world like play games and go shopping for your brand new friend. feed your pet and keep it happy and healthy to prevent it from getting sick. Visit your virtual pet daily and complete daily quests, there is always something to do in Webkinz world.

I think this quote means that when you get up and do things instead of doing nothing great things will happen. Sometimes  you have to get up and do stuff to make things happen, you cant just sit around and wait for people to do things for you. (a wise quote from my dad) In the quote it says “Life is what happens while you’re busy..” This means that being busy doing acts you are living. I like this quote because it makes the reader have to think about what they had read. At first it didn’t make much sense to me but now I understand what this quote means.

This was the first art project of the year. I think this art project was super fun and very easy. All you need to do it is, coloured paper, crayons or pencil crayons and glue. To start you make an out line of a picture with the glue. There should be very little or no details with the glue because you will colour that in with crayon later. Once the glue dries you may colour around the glue outlines. Then There you have it! A beautiful piece of art!
